The Love of God - The Anchor of My Soul

We inherit the promises of God through faith and patience – Hebrews 6:12. Jesus the Christ is faithful in carrying out and fulfilling all the promises of God – 2 Corinthians 1:20, Living Bible. 

For that reason, Jesus is the Author and Finisher of faith – Hebrews 12:2. 

Patience produces strength of character in us – Romans 5:4, James 1:4. 

God is more interested in the development of our inner self to enjoy all His goodness. It is a process that takes time. 

The love of God empowers us to complete the regime of patience Romans 5:5. 

God, the Potter, is not in a hurry to create a masterpiece out of the lump of clay. Then why should the lump of clay be in haste? It is hazy to be hasty. 

Let the love of God be our anchor of confident and expectant hope
